Welcome to "Our Schools."
The education provided by the Springfield Local School District to each of our 4000+ students is exceptional - - without exception!
Academic programs include enrichment (beginning as early as kindergarten) and extend to partnerships that provide college-credit courses offered right on our high school campus. The district features four Kindergarten-Grade 5 elementary schools (Crissey, Dorr, Holland, and Holloway), Springfield Middle School (Grades 6-8) and Springfield High School (Grades 9-12).
Results matter – and data show that Springfield students continue to succeed! This is evidenced by scores that exceed Ohio Achievement Assessment/Ohio Graduation Test standards. In 2011, Springfield achieved the rating of “EXCELLENT" from the Ohio Department of Education and raised our Performance Index score to 100.8!
